Happy Tuesday, all! This past week I’ve been writing some creepy scenes. So guess, what? Creepy music time. Check out the tunes I’ve been listening to.
Iron by Woodkid
Woodkid is one of those artists that kind of slipped my mind. That’s a real shame because I tagged The Golden Age as one of my best albums of 2013 in Love A Happy Ending Lifestyle Magazine. “Iron” is the debut single by Yoann Lemoine, a.k.a. Woodkid, from his album The Golden Age. This song has cropped up on the trailer to Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Teen Wolf.
Lullaby by The Cure
The Cure is a rock band that hails from Crawley, West Sussex. Their debut album Three Imaginary Boys released in the late 1970’s. They were one of the first bands to be classified as “New Wave” after Punk in the UK sort of went by the wayside. In 1982, the group released Pornography. The band has released thirteen albums, including 2008’s 4:13 Dream. “Lullaby” should be soft and dreamy. Instead it manages to be both horrifying and intoxicating. Who doesn’t cringe when they hear the words: The spider man is having me for dinner tonight…
