About the book

Book One Cover

It Started With A Click: The Story of an eBay Romance is the newly updated and fictionalised release of a true love story that started on eBay. Catherine had just bought two rugby tickets and ended up in conversation with the seller, Damien. They very soon exchanged a few photos and a mutual attraction started to grow. The conversations continue and the emails start to heat up a little. Soon they are creating feelings in one another that neither were expecting.

Excerpt

From: Damien Fisher

How shy are you?  Don’t you normally spend your time in contact with complete strangers?

From: Catherine Lord

I wouldn’t normally but something interested me. I am very shy when you first meet me – or, I can be very shy. Once you know me I’m not at all!

From: Damien Fisher

One of these days I’ll pick the phone up to you and scare you to death!

From: Damien Fisher

I’ve just read that again, it sounded quite ominous didn’t it?  It wasn’t meant to!

From: Catherine Lord

It did! I thought you were going to call last night.

From: Damien Fisher

I did consider it but thought you’d be too embarrassed to answer.

From: Catherine Lord

I thought you were thinking about it – and I would have answered the phone! Why wouldn’t I? But, what about the air of mystery?

From: Damien Fisher

Wouldn’t you get bored with mystery lasting too long?

From: Catherine Lord

I don’t know. In some ways it’s really exciting and in some ways I really want to know what you sound like.

From: Damien Fisher

We’ll find out at the airport.

From: Catherine Lord

On the way to Rome?

From: Damien Fisher

Of course.
